Portable Power Station Prices in Nigeria (2026): Oraimo vs itel vs EcoFlow vs Bluetti

Last updated: 26 September 2026

Let’s talk about portable power station prices in Nigeria. When power supply is cut off, most Nigerian homes reach for the generator. Petrol is now selling for around ₦1,350–₦1,385 a litre in Lagos, so more people are asking a different question: can a portable power station handle my fan, router and lights through the night, and which one gives me the most power for my money?

We compared the four brands Nigerians search for most (Oraimo, itel, EcoFlow and Bluetti) using prices from each brand’s official Nigerian store or from Jumia on 26 September 2026. We then worked out the cost per watt-hour (Wh) and how long each unit would realistically last on typical Nigerian night-time loads.

How we got these numbers: Prices come from official brand stores and Jumia, not from TikTok or unverified sellers. Runtimes are calculated from each manufacturer’s published capacity (method explained below). They are not lab tests. We’ll add hands-on results as we test units ourselves.

In short:

  • Cheapest power for your money: itel Power Tank, at about ₦307 per Wh.
  • Best all-rounder if you can afford it: EcoFlow DELTA 3 Classic. It recharges fastest, runs heavier appliances and has the longest warranty.
  • Cheapest way to start: itel Power Go Pro, at under ₦150,000.

First, what “Wh” and “W” mean (and why they matter more than the price)

Two numbers decide whether a power station suits you:

  • Capacity (Wh, watt-hours) is the size of the “tank”: how much energy it stores. More Wh means more hours of backup.
  • AC output (W, watts) is how heavy an appliance it can run at once. A 200W output will run a fan and a router but won’t start a pressing iron.

Comparing cost per Wh (price ÷ capacity) is the fairest way to compare brands, because it shows how much storage you get per naira regardless of size.

Brand by brand

itel Energy: most capacity per naira

itel sells two main products in Nigeria under its itel Energy brand:

  • Power Tank (500W inverter + 1kWh LiFePO4 battery): ₦306,900 from the official itel Energy store on Jumia. At about ₦307 per Wh, it’s the cheapest per unit of storage in this comparison by a wide margin.
  • Power Go Pro (IESS-320ACT): 320Wh, 200W AC output plus fast-charging DC ports. ₦144,950 on Jumia.
  • Power Go (IESS-320T): 320Wh, listed at ₦87,650–₦119,550. Check the listing carefully: some descriptions mention only DC/USB output (130W), so confirm it has an AC socket if you need to plug in a fan.

The catch: the Power Tank’s 500W output is modest. It’s fine for fans, TV, router, laptop and lights. It’s not meant for a fridge with a big start-up surge, a pressing iron or an air conditioner.

Buying tip: Jumia had more than 20 itel Energy listings when we checked, most of them from third-party sellers and priced anywhere from ₦306,850 to ₦440,000 for the same Power Tank. Buy from the listing marked Official Store to avoid overpaying or getting a unit with no warranty.

EcoFlow: fastest charging, strongest output

EcoFlow runs an official Nigerian store with naira prices:

  • RIVER 3 Plus: 286Wh, 600W (1,200W surge), LiFePO4 rated for 3,000 cycles. ₦372,000 (listed down from ₦532,419). EcoFlow says it charges from 0 to 100% in about 60 minutes on AC and switches to battery in under 10ms, fast enough to keep a Wi-Fi router or desktop from rebooting when light goes.
  • DELTA 3 Classic: 1,024Wh, 1,800W (3,600W surge), up to 500W solar input, 0–80% in about 45 minutes. ₦798,000. EcoFlow lists a 3+2 year warranty: three years, plus two more if you register the unit in the EcoFlow app.
  • DELTA 3 Air: from ₦515,000 for 960Wh with 500W output. It’s cheaper per Wh than the Classic but has a much lower output.
  • DELTA 3 Max: 2,048Wh, 2,400W. ₦1,362,000.

Why the speed matters in Nigeria: if your area only gets light for two or three hours at a time, a unit that fully recharges in an hour is far more useful than one that needs five. This is where EcoFlow justifies its higher price.

Bluetti: one standout deal, many sold out

Bluetti’s Nigerian store lists seven models, but most were sold out or on pre-order when we checked. The one to watch:

  • EB3A: 268.8Wh, 600W (1,200W surge), LiFePO4 rated for 2,500+ cycles, 200W solar input, 24-month warranty. ₦262,703 on sale (regular price ₦558,999).

At the sale price the EB3A is a good small unit, cheaper than the similar EcoFlow RIVER 3 Plus. Just know the discount may not last. The larger Bluetti models (EB70, EB150, EB240, AC200MAX) were sold out, and the AC200MAX was listed at ₦2,853,999 on pre-order.

Oraimo: well-known brand, hard to find right now

Oraimo makes two power stations:

  • PowerStation 600 (OPS-5601): 448Wh, 600W, LiFePO4 battery rated for 3,500 cycles.
  • PowerStation 1000 (OPS-7101U): 896Wh, 1,000W, LiFePO4 rated for 4,000+ cycles.

When we checked on 26 September 2026, neither was available on Oraimo’s official Nigerian store. Both product pages redirected to a power station collection page that showed only accessories and small solar kits. We found the PowerStation 600 at ₦545,000 from a third-party retailer. That’s about ₦1,217 per Wh, which is poor value next to itel or even EcoFlow’s DELTA range.

If you want an Oraimo, contact Oraimo Nigeria’s customer care (listed on its website) to confirm stock and warranty before paying a third-party seller.

How long will each one actually last?

We assumed a typical night-time load of 80W: a standing fan (~50W), a Wi-Fi router (~10W) and two LED bulbs (~10W each). Power stations lose some energy converting battery power to AC, so we assumed about 85% of the rated capacity is usable. Your results will vary with your appliances.

ModelCapacityEst. runtime at 80W
EcoFlow DELTA 3 Classic1,024Wh~10.9 hours
itel Power Tank1,000Wh~10.6 hours
EcoFlow DELTA 3 Air960Wh~10.2 hours
Oraimo PowerStation 1000896Wh~9.5 hours
Oraimo PowerStation 600448Wh~4.8 hours
itel Power Go Pro320Wh~3.4 hours
EcoFlow RIVER 3 Plus286Wh~3.0 hours
Bluetti EB3A268.8Wh~2.9 hours

What this means: to run a fan through a full night (8+ hours), you need something around 1,000Wh. The 270–450Wh units are best for keeping a router, laptop and phones alive during the day, or for a few hours of fan in the evening.

In our test, the itel Power Tank ran a Binatone fan and MTN router for 9 hours 40 minutes.

Power station vs generator: what it costs to run

Here’s the running cost that makes power stations interesting:

  • Recharging a 1,000Wh unit from the grid uses roughly 1.15kWh once charging losses are included. At the Band A rate of ₦209.50/kWh, that’s about ₦240. It’s less on lower bands, and free from solar.
  • A small petrol generator commonly burns around half a litre an hour at light load. At ₦1,350–₦1,385 a litre, that’s roughly ₦650–₦700 an hour.

So a full night of fan, router and lights from a 1kWh power station costs about the same as 20 minutes of generator fuel. It’s also silent and produces no fumes.

The honest trade-off: a power station only works if you can recharge it, either from grid power when it comes or from solar panels. If your area goes days without light and you have no solar, a generator (or a bigger solar setup) is still the more reliable choice. And no portable unit in this list will run an air conditioner all night.

Which one should you buy?

  • Under ₦150,000, just want phones, router and lights: itel Power Go Pro (₦144,950). Confirm the listing has AC output.
  • ₦250,000–₦400,000, want a fan through the night: itel Power Tank (₦306,900). No other unit here comes close on capacity for the price. If you’d rather have a smaller, faster-charging, better-built unit for a laptop and router, the Bluetti EB3A at its sale price is the pick.
  • ₦500,000–₦800,000, want speed and warranty: EcoFlow DELTA 3 Classic (₦798,000). Its one-hour recharge suits areas with short light windows, the 1,800W output handles heavier appliances, and the 3+2 year warranty is the best in this comparison.
  • Over ₦1 million, running a home office or small shop: EcoFlow DELTA 3 Max (₦1,362,000), or look at a proper inverter-and-battery system instead. (Our inverter price guide is coming soon.)

Six checks before you pay

  1. Battery type: choose LiFePO4 (lithium iron phosphate). All the main models above use it. It’s safer and lasts thousands of cycles, compared with a few hundred for older lithium-ion packs.
  2. Buy from an official store: use the brand’s own website or its “Official Store” on Jumia. Third-party prices for the same product varied by more than ₦130,000 in our checks.
  3. Warranty in Nigeria: ask where you’d take it for repairs. EcoFlow lists 3+2 years and Bluetti 24 months. Get it in writing from any other seller.
  4. Output vs your appliances: add up the watts of everything you’ll run at the same time, and leave headroom for fans and fridges, which draw extra power when they start.
  5. Charging speed: if your light comes in short bursts, fast AC charging matters as much as capacity.
  6. Solar input: if you plan to add panels later, check the maximum solar watts (for example, 200W on the Bluetti EB3A and 500W on the EcoFlow DELTA 3 Classic).

Frequently asked questions

How much is a portable power station in Nigeria?

From about ₦145,000 for a 320Wh itel Power Go Pro to over ₦1.3 million for a 2,048Wh EcoFlow DELTA 3 Max. For a unit that can run a fan all night (~1,000Wh), expect to pay ₦307,000–₦800,000 depending on the brand.

Which power station brand is best in Nigeria?

It depends on your budget. itel gives the most capacity per naira. EcoFlow gives the fastest charging, highest output and longest warranty. Bluetti’s EB3A is a good small unit when it’s on sale.

Can a power station run a fridge or freezer?

Only the higher-output models, and only for limited hours. A fridge needs a burst of extra power when its compressor starts, so check that the power station’s surge rating is well above the fridge’s running watts. The 200–500W units in this list aren’t suited for it.

How long does a power station battery last?

LiFePO4 units are rated for roughly 2,500 to 6,000 charge cycles before dropping to 80% capacity, depending on the model. That’s around 7–10+ years of daily charging.

Can I charge a power station with solar panels?

Yes. All the brands here support solar charging. Check each model’s maximum solar input and buy panels that match it.

Is Oraimo power station still available in Nigeria?

When we checked on 26 September 2026, Oraimo’s PowerStation 600 and 1000 weren’t listed on Oraimo’s official Nigerian store. Confirm stock with Oraimo Nigeria before buying from a third party.
